VPB: Team

	Anthony Siwawa is the founder and Managing Director of VPB, and is regarded as a pioneer in the ﬁeld of Venture Capital in Botswana. Prior to establishing VPB he was involved in the consulting and ﬁnancial management arena out of Johannesburg, South Africa with Deloitte and Touche, where he was involved in the establishment of a regional Private Equity fund capitalized at Euros 100Million. He later joined the fund and was involved in the conclusion of transactions in Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia and Angola. He went on to establish a Corporate Finance and Advisory company in Botswana and South Africa which specialized in mergers and acquisitions.He is a Computer Science graduate of Aston University Birmingham (UK) and is a qualiﬁed Chartered Certiﬁed Accountant (ACCA).

	Ndaba Mpofu is the Chief Investment Ofﬁcer with overall responsibility for investment activities. He has 21 years of working experience in the ﬁnancial services industry, having worked in Corporate Banking, as well as Investment, and Institutional Banking with an International Banking Group. Ndaba has many years of experience in the venture capital and private equity industry in the Southern Africa region, at senior management levels. He obtained a Bachelors’ Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Philosophy Degree from Cambridge University, England.

	Mrs. Letshwiti is a full member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). She has been with VPB since February 2005, previously as an Investment Analyst. Mrs. Letshwiti has gained wide experience in the Private Equity industry, following on training in the US with the North American Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and the Southern Africa Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA). She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for a number of companies, including Latex Medical and Mabele Breweries.

	Miss Refilwe Obuseng was confirmed as Investment Analyst in February 2008. Miss Obuseng is Bachelor of Accounting Graduate who has garnered experience in the finance industry through a local Audit Tax and Advisory firm. Miss Obuseng is currently expanding on her knowledge and skill of Private Equity and Venture Capital at VPB.

	Daudi Mtonga joined VPB in May 2006. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Prior to joining VPB, Daudi Mtonga served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche Gaborone Botswana and Lusaka Zambia practices. While at Deloitte, he was primarily managing a number of client portfolios over a diverse industrial base and was responsible for, among other things risk assessment on appointment and reappointment of auditors and carrying out of strategic audit planning, monitoring and controlling performance of audits on a day to day basis. Daudi Mtonga, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, received a B.SC degree in Computer Mathematics from the University of Zambia and is a member of the following professional bodies: The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”);Associate member of the Botswana Institute of Accountants (“ABIA”); andAssociate member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (“AZICA”).

	Malebogo is the Office Accountant at Venture Partners Botswana. She is an A.A.T graduate and is studying for the final part of the ACCA professional stage exams. Her professional progression is significantly utilised in her current position where her pro-activity and procedural awareness are constantly demonstrated.

	Bafana Molomo is a BComm. Finance and Economics (UCT) graduate who joined VPB as an Investment Associate in November 2007. Prior to joining VPB, Mr Molomo was an Analyst with one of the Parastatals after starting his career as an Investment Analyst with one of the Local Fund Management Firms.
